If you have a theme, Fat Rick’s BBQ Catering can work with any idea that
you have in mind using your props or, for a nominal charge, we can create
one for you. When you choose us to cater your event, you have at your
fingertips the resources of several Fat Rick’s veteran’s who have
mastered the art of BBQ. And that experience speaks volumes in making
each event special due to our special resources, creative energies and
expertise that are second to none.
• Custom Select Your Menu
What you would like to serve is entirely up to you. You have the option of
choosing one of our “BBQ Packages” going for a straight-forward “down
and dirty” Bar-B-Que right up to a “no holds barred” themed Bar-B-Que
extravaganza. Our wonderful menu selections have impressed clients
since Fat Rick’s humble beginnings. But don’t think that just because Fat
Rick’s BBQ Catering is best known for our scrumptious BBQ that that’s all
we do. We are extremely versatile! We can prepare virtually anything from
classics like baked chicken or roast beef to Southern Louisiana cuisine
like Gumbos, Jambalaya, Shrimp Étouffée or Catfish Creole, to a complete
Caribbean menu of Rice & Peas, Fried Conch, and Jerk Chicken. If there is
a food item you want that is not on our menu, just ask! Anything’s
possible, and if we can make it happen for you, we will. Fat Rick’s BBQ
Catering also has several smoker and grill options, so no matter how big
or small your crowd, our pit masters can handle it all! We also have a vast
network of resources to help you fulfill your event wish list.
• Our skilled staff is ready to assist you
We work closely with you to staff your event properly so everything goes
smoothly. There are always servers who set up, serve and maintain the
buffet area. If Fat Rick’s is cooking on site, our BBQ Specialists are
present to manage the pit area, back up the buffet and assist in
maintaining the surroundings. Depending on the size of your event, if you
require additional staffing, we’ve got that covered, too.

• Rent a Tent for the Big Event!
When we say we are a full-service caterer, we mean just that. Fat Rick’s
can provide tents, tables, chairs, umbrellas, linens, dance floors, lighting,
Margarita Machines, Hot Dog Carts, Sno-Cone machines, Popcorn
machines, and even live music at extremely competitive rates. There’s no
need for you to do any more than you care to do; after all, you’ve got more
important things to do like entertaining guests. You name it and
we’ll get it done!
